Description
Light coloured base wheat malt EBC 4-6
Malted wheat forms the base of several styles of beer, such as weizen and witbier, but is also used to enhance the body and mouthfeel of very light ales and lagers. Due to the nature of wheat kernels, very large amount of wheat in the malt bill increase the change of stuck mash significantly, and require addition of mash enhancers such as rice hulls.
